Feed Me privacy policy

Effective September 10, 2026

Feed Me is a sourdough starter app for iPhone made by Brian Chowns. This page explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your data stays on your phone.

What the app stores

Feed Me stores your starters, feedings, bake plans, bake log entries, recipes, kitchen settings and any photos you attach to a bake. All of it is saved on your device only. The app has no account, no server and no sign in. We cannot see your data.

What leaves your phone

Nothing is sent to us. The app does not use analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.

Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes your payment and shares only what Apple's own privacy policy allows. We never see your payment details.

Notifications

Feeding and bake reminders are scheduled on your device. They are optional and you can turn them off in iPhone Settings at any time.

Photos

If you add a photo to a bake, the app keeps a copy inside its own storage on your phone. It never uploads it.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes everything it stored. You can also delete a starter, a feeding or a bake inside the app at any time.

Children

Feed Me is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. It collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
